T'Neya Tovar: Missing California Teen Found Dead
T'Neya Tovar, a vibrant 17-year-old from Hemet, California, known affectionately as "TT," was a spark of personality—creative, passionate, and a force to be reckoned with. Her family remembers her as someone full of life, dreams, and love, who was figuring out her path as a teenager, sometimes pushing boundaries but always staying connected to those who cared for her.
She had parents who would show up when it mattered most, and her mother, Charro Tovar, has shared heartfelt words about her daughter: "She is a force. She is loved.
"Tragically, T'Neya's young life was cut short in late 2025. Reported missing on December 1, 2025, after she stopped answering her mother's calls and texts—and turned off her location-sharing—she had last been dropped off at a home on Harlequin Court in Salton City. What followed was unimaginable grief for her family.
On December 21, 2025, a decomposing human leg was discovered in a nearby field in the Vista Del Mar area near the Salton Sea. DNA testing, confirmed on February 6, 2026, through comparison with her mother Charro, identified the remains as T'Neya's.
Bullet fragments recovered from the remains indicated she had been killed by gunshot.
The partial nature of the discovery—beginning with a lone limb in the desert—underscored the brutality of her loss.
Fifty-one-year-old Abraham Feinbloom, the owner of the Salton City home where T'Neya was last seen, was arrested on February 13, 2026, after attempting to flee authorities during a search warrant execution. He was charged with first-degree murder with a firearm enhancement, along with resisting a peace officer. Feinbloom pleaded not guilty and is scheduled for a preliminary hearing on February 23, 2026. He remains in custody without bail.
T'Neya's mother, Charro, has expressed deep appreciation for those sharing her daughter's story and has planned a candlelight vigil to honor her. A community fundraiser has also been established to help the family give T'Neya a proper memorial, ensuring she is remembered with the dignity, love, and respect she deserves.
As Charro has said, "I have to thank people for sharing my daughter's story. I appreciate it so much."T'Neya Tovar's story highlights the profound impact one young Black woman's life had on her loved ones—and the devastating void left by her violent death. Her memory endures through her family's unwavering love and the community's support.
