Aseelah Mohammed, 41, was pronounced dead on Thursday, December 27, 2023, after her body was found wrapped in a quilt at a homeless shelter. Police have said she died from a drug overdose, but the family contends she was murdered.

Marayana Rodgers, 23, was found dead in a desert area of Henderson, Nevada on December 15, 2023. Two people — a sex worker and her former NBA G-League boyfriend — have been arrested in connection to her slaying.

Law enforcement in Rensselaer, New York, say Josefina Catherine Cunningham, 3, was killed on July 7, 2023. A 33-year-old man has been charged with murder.

Kuvina Hickles, 28, was shot to death on Saturday, February 10, 2024 in Milwaukee. Her boyfriend has been questioned by police.

Paula Appleberry, 54, was fatally shot on Sunday, February 4, 2024 while driving her grandchildren from a birthday party in Memphis.

29-year-old Danielle Banks's body was found December 9, 2023 in the suburban Chicago city of Riverdale, Illinois. Three people have been charged in connection with her murder.

Britney Long, 27, was a mother of four who was fatally shot in the head while lying in bed at her home in Indianapolis on Saturday, January 6, 2024.

Keera Brabham, 29, was found dead in an apartment fire about 3:30 a.,. on Tuesday, Dec. 26, 2023. Her family believes she was murdered. An investigation has been launched.

Jemeka Williams, 38, was shot to death on Friday, Nov. 10, 2023, in front of three of her children. Her boyfriend, and father of one of her children, has been arrested on a murder charge.

Tonyetta Loveless was found dead around noon on Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2023, at a Baton Rouge apartment complex one day after she turned 42 years old.

Keisha Marie White died in spring 2014 after being admitted to a hospital in Greenville, North Carolina, due to experiencing some serious lupus complications. Her kidneys failed and she was in acute renal failure.

Margaret "Maggie" Mbitu, 31, of Whitman, Massachusetts was found stabbed to death in a parking garage outside Logan Airport. Her boyfriend, who boarded a flight to Kenya, is wanted for murder.

Dishaye Stevenson was shot to death on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, in Dallas, Texas. Her husband has been charged with murder.
