Natasha Hays, 37, was gunned down while she slept in her home in Kansas City. Singer Janella Monae tweeted that Hays was her first cousin. No suspect is known to police at this time.

Javona Glover, a 23-year-old mother of a 2-year-old, was fatally stabbed on her job at Walgreens in Tallahassee on August 31, 2016. Police are looking for a female suspect.

Deborah Pearl, 53, was gunned down Friday on an Ohio street after getting into a car crash with a man. No motive was given in the shooting.

Essence Bowman, a 27-year-old wife and mother from Virginia, was struck and killed by a car while in police custody in Sulphur, Louisiana. The family is seeking answers.

Police said a gunman opened fire on DeArrea Haymond, 19, and Brendan Hudson, 25, while they were sitting in a car in a driveway in suburban Chicago in January 2016. Haymond died at the scene; Hudson is recovering.
