Imani Roberson: Georgia Mother of 4 Goes Missing And Is Found Dead

Imani Roberson went missing on July 17, 2023. after visiting her parents in Conyers, Georgia. More than three weeks later, her body was found 24 miles away next to her torched SUV. Her husband has been arrested.

Imani Roberson, a married mother of four children, vanished after visiting her mother’s home for dinner in Conyers, Georgia on July 17, 2023.

She left the home with two of her kids — the 1-month-old and 3-year-old. The two older children stayed with their grandmother.

That next day, no one could find Roberson, which greatly concerned her parents.

Roberson’s mother told reporters that when she couldn’t reach her daughter, she “knew something was wrong.”

Roberson’s body was found on Aug. 4 near her burned-out SUV in South Fulton, about 24 miles from her home, authorities said.

A judge assigned to the case said that evidence shows that Roberson’s two youngest children likely saw or heard their mother be killed.

“The 3-year-old audibly heard the incident and that they were also in the vehicle when their mother was being transported out of the county,” Judge Phinia Aten said Wednesday, per WSB-TV.

Roberson's husband, Donnell Anderson, was arrested and charged with felony murder, malice murder, aggravated assault and possession of a firearm.

Also arrested was Anderson’s brother, 28-year-old Cedarius Glaze, who detectives said allegedly helped dispose of Roberson’s body.

He has been charged with tampering with evidence, concealment of a dead body, and arson.

When Roberson’s parents learned that the case had changed from a missing persons case into a murder case, they were overcome with emotion.

“Late last night, my worst fears were confirmed and our family is devastated,” Clarine Andujar-White said told reporters.

Roberson’s father, Ronald Acklin, added, "It’s not the news that we wanted but I’m happy that we can hold them accountable.”

A GoFundMe set up in the family’s behalf says, “We thank you all so much for your support during this devastating time. While we are immensely grateful to have found Imani, our fight has just begun. We will not rest until the person(s) responsible for this are brought to justice. Our main focus has to be Imani’s four children at the moment, but we remain vigilant.”

Police have not released a motive for the killing as of this writing.
