Chloe Marie Corona: 28-Year-Old California Woman Found With Multiple Gunshot Wounds

Chloe Marie Corona was found dead after suffering from multiple gunshot wounds in her Lancaster, California home about 2 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2019.

Chloe Marie Corona of Lancaster, California, is just the latest woman of color to be murdered in the United States.

Deputies from the Lancaster Sheriff’s Station said that in the wee hours of Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2019 a 911 call was received from Corona’s home but the caller abruptly hung up. Responding officers found Corona inside the home suffering from “multiple gunshot wounds,” according to a news release.

There are many questions surrounding the slaying of Corona, but authorities said that there is no suspect description and the murder weapon has not been found.

One thing police have confirmed is that the shooting does not appear to be gang-related.
