Abree Boykin: 24-Year-Old Army Wife Found Slain At Georgia's Fort Stewart
Georgia authorities are searching for a killer of an Army wife. Abree Boykin, 24, was found dead in her home, which was on base, on July 10, 2018.
Military police found Boykin's body while her husband, was on duty in South Korea with the Army's 3rd Infantry Division. He arrived back at Fort Stewart in Georgia after authorities told him of the tragedy.
Authorities believe that Boykin may have known her attacker. They are searching for her Boykin’s black 2018 Honda Accord, which is missing. The Georgia tag on the car is RLQ1762.
"We are seeking the public’s assistance and asking for them to come forward with any and all information they may have regarding this investigation,” Army criminal investigation spokesman Chris Grey said, according to the Atlanta-Journal Constitution. “We are asking for them to do the right thing and contact us if they have any information whatsoever, regardless of how trivial they may think that information is.”
"I spoke with the investigator and he says they are getting close to finding out who was it that did it and what was it that happened. The investigator also says he does know what went on in that apartment," Adrian Haywood told WSAV.
Authorities are offering a reward for information in Boykin's slaying.
